This is the sequel to Dragon Slippers, following Creel and company as they try to avoid another dragon war. The dragons in Citatie, a nation on the other side of Roulain and across the water, are acting strangely, and the king of Citatie has declared war on Fevavel! Can Creel and her friends figure out what is making the dragons act so strangely and stop them before they decimate Feravel (again)?
This adventure was as delightful as the first, maybe even more so since you already know the characters and can dive right into the story. New friends are introduced and Creel continues to be clever in the face of danger. I give this one a 9 as well, and I’m hoping there will eventually be a third book in this series.
