“Hell Week” by Rosemary Clement-Moore

This is the second book in the Maggie Quinn: Girl vs. Evil series, and it was just as good as the first book, Prom Dates From Hell.

The summer has passed and Maggie has chosen to attend Bedivere, the local university where her father teaches. In an enthusiastic effort to be on the university paper, Maggie has decided to tell the inside story of Rush, when college students can learn about the different sororities and fraternities available to them. Her article is so good that the editor-in-chief tells her that if she keeps going and becomes a pledge, she can keep writing. It doesn’t take Maggie long to find the Evil in Greek Row and soon she’s battling for her life in a show down against Good and Evil.

I love Maggie’s sense of humor, as well as how she continues to deal with her Sight. She is continually learning new things, like how to shield herself from other people’s psychic onslaughts. Justin is still around, and Maggie and Lisa are trying to heal their relationship. Maggie is also dealing with her first semester of college and, since she lives at home, with her family as well. Another great story from Clement-Moore, and a 9 for this one.
